Stressonhold launch new stress awareness seminars

Today we have launched our new Stress Awareness seminars. The seminars are
designed to to provide managers with the tools to recognize stress symptoms in
their staff and respond in the correct manner. As part of the seminar we also provide
stress evaluation software which allow individual managers to asses their own
strengths and weaknesses when dealing with stress in their teams.

Stressonhold joins ISMA

We see this move as a reflection of the increasing visibility of Stressonhold in the UK and is a move designed to provide the company with access to the wide range of support services available to members of the organisation.

Lincolnshire County Council completes discovery day

Stressonhold recently completed a stress monitoring discovery day for Lincolnshire County Councils customer services team during which we assessed stress levels for 24 individuals and presented our findings back to the Absence managenment team amd senior management.

Stressonhold attends NWEGG conference

Stressonhold attended the 7th annual NWEGG conference at the Gorton Monastery in Manchester on 23rd November. We attracted considerable intrest inour unique Stressmonitoring solution completing stress tests on over 40 people during the day. We were joined at the conference by a number of our existing public sector customers who continue to support our growth and development.

Stressonhold tests prove the link between Stress and Performance in the Contact Centre.

During recent trials at a Contact Centre in the North of England, Stressonhold results proved the link between stress levels and sales performance.

The Contact Centre Manager stated “ We always suspected that poor performance might be linked to stress levels but now we can prove it. The results show that Advisors performing at optimum levels are out selling those on low or high stress levels….. ”

There is no single cause…..” Professor Peter Kinderman, Professor of Clinical Psychology, Dept of Mental Health and Well-Being, University of Liverpool. “… it’s not possible to avoid all potential traumas, there are many things we can do to protect our mental health. We can keep ourselves fit and, particularly, active; keeping our bodies and brains healthy. We can maintain our close personal relationships – these can be hugely supportive in difficult times. And we can try to make sure we respond in the most healthy way to any stressful events.”

ISMAUK announced ‘National Stress Awareness Day’ – NSAD

The ISMAUK has announced that the first Wednesday in November of each year has been nominated and set aside to deliver stress awareness information to the country and is to be known as National Stress Awareness Day which may be abbreviated to NSAD (pronounced ‘N-sad’) once the title has been introduced. “Organised by ISMAUK”.

NSAD is a day organised and delivered by ISMAUK with the support of interested parties.
